- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California has a requirement for a complete Eddy Covariance package with soil heat flux sensors. The system measures carbon dioxide and water vapor flux of the terrestrial land surface. With additional sensors and software to measure micrometeorological conditions, soil heat flux and remotely transmit data. The Government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source since there are no other vendors capable of providing this entire Eddy Coveriance system other than Campbell Scientific, Inc. (1ea.) -Open-Path CO2/H20 Analyzer, 6m Cable. (1ea.) -3/4 x 1 inch NURAIL Crossover Fitting. (1ea.) -Replacement Power Cable 20ft per sensor cable. (1ea.) -Replacement SDM cable 50ft per sensor cable. (1ea.) -Sensor Cressarm with one CM210 Mounting Kit, 4ft. (1ea.) -3/4 x 1 inch NURAIL crossover Fitting. (1ea.) -3/4 IPS Aluminum Pipe, 12 inches long. (1ea.) -Kipp & Zonen Net Radiometer, 48ft cable per sensor. (1EA.) -NR-LITE or CNR1 Mounting Kit to avoid shading effects and to promote spatial averaging, the NR-LITE should be mounted at least 1.5m above the ground surface. (1ea.)
