Description
Amend 0001 Download revised specs for wench. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement to provide all necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities to provide a fully functional hydraulic winch in accordance with the solicitation and statement of work under a contract at the Gerry E. Studds Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, 175 Edward Foster Road, Scituate, MA 02066. Upon completion of the contract, the contractor will deliver to the sanctuary a hydraulic scientific winch with level wind outfitted with 600 meters of armored .322 2-conductor electromechanical cable and a two-conductor slipring. The total weight of the winch with cable will not exceed 1300 lbs. The winch will connect via hydraulic hoses to the R/V AUK central hydraulic system. An angled adapter foundation will accompany the winch that provides the correct cable angle for the winch to address the AUK?s A-frame. Delivery is expected by August 31, 2006. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about June 14, 2006. The applicable NAICS number is 333923 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business. The Request for Quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. Contractors are asked to provide their (DUNS) Dun and Bradstreet nine digit number along with their quotation. Quotes can be faxed to 757-441-3786 or mailed to U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, Eastern Region Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510. No telephone requests will be honored. This is a Commercial Acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 apply.
