- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Sea Technology Services (STS) located in Cape Town, South Africa for NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) for the design, construction , test, and deployment of DropTS and FasTowCam system; and maintenance and deployment for the NMFS autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). STS has built six instrumented buoys per STS's specifications and the DropTS and FasTowCam systems mult evolve from this modular design for compatibility and efficiency. The period of performance is September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimaled value of less than $100,000
