- *********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision to clean, inspect, and install chimney liners, and test boilers in strict accordance with these specifications at 16 residential buildings (units 806-822) located on the Integrated Support Command Base, Kodiak Alaska. All building are in the Lake Louise subdivision. Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. ***********Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. ************ GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: as stated in Statement of Work. Performance Period is 30-45 days. (2) COPIES OF SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer?s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition MSDS?s, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ACI304, ACI347, UBC, NEC, State of Alaska Administrative Codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), MIL SPEC, FED STD, and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY FEBRUARY 23, 2006. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is UNDER $35,000. This is a small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately JULY 31, 2006. Written quotes will be due on / about AUGUST 28, 2006.
