- The Justice Management Division will be issuing a solicitation for a forensic Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)that includes designing, delivering, installing, training and maintaining a LIMS solution which will be implemented in various international forensic laboratory settings. LIMS Graphical User Interfaces will be required to coincide with the laboratories native language, all hardware and software necessary to run the LIMS application will be required to be delivered as part of the LIMS solution. On-site and On-call hardware maintenance and software support will also required. The forensic LIMS implementations will be performed in international locations such as Bulgaria, Indonesia, Kosovo, Africa and Asia. The forensic laboratory settings range in size from approximately 2 to approximately 45 concurrent users. A single contract will be awarded on an unrestricted competitive basis. The contract will be available for use by the Department of Justice, Criminal Division, on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order basis for a total of 6 years including options. Solicitation DJJK06RFP0392 will be available mid the August, 2006 timeframe and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s FedBizOpps web site www.FedBizOpps.gov (Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available). The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps site.
