- TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE: The Department of Labor, Department of Labor's Office of Public Affairs (OPA), Division of Audiovisual Communications Services (DAVCS) has a requirement for a contractor to furnish and install an Audio/Visual Presentation System in the DAVCS Television production control area located in the Department of Labor, Frances Perkins Building, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC. The equipment should be brand name or equal. The contractor facilities shall be located within a 100 (50 miles one-way) mile round trip radius of the Department of Labor which is located at 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210. This requirement is set aside for small business; the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The contract performance period is anticipated to consist of one year from effective date of award (EDOA) through 12 months from EDOA. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 18, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
