- Description
- The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Fresenius USA Marketing Inc, for four Fresenius 2008K hemodialysis machines and training for the VAMC Milwaukee, located in WI. The VAMC Milwaukee requires the Fresenius system (2008K) because it needs to be compatible with the existing Fresenius 2008H systems at the facility and have the capability to interface with a VistA Clinical Procedures Hemodialysis package. A planned Dialysis Information System is being planned at the VAMC Milwaukee and will require standardization and compatibility with between the dialysis machines. The VAMC Milwaukee currently has a significant inventory of parts and accessories for the 2008H system that are compatible with the 2008K system offered by Fresenius. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Fresenius USA Marketing, Inc.
