- Description
- The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Olympus Surgical & Industrial America, Inc for one Endoeye Laparoscope system and accessories for the VAMC Milwaukee, located in WI. The system must be a video surgical endoscope system that has a CCD video chip in the distal end of the scope to eliminate the need for a camera head on the scopes, a video processor that is compatible with both HD and non-HD video endoscopes and camera heads, a camera head that is autoclavable, deflectable tip laparoscopic scopes (10MM and 5MM), High definition distally mounted CCD video chip (autoclavable with 10MM laparoscopes), and a distally mounted CCD video chip, (autoclavable with 5MM laparoscopes). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Olympus Surgical & Industrial America, Inc.
