- This synopsis serves as notice that the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for one base year and four one-year options to perform laundry services to include, but not limited to: all required labor, transportation, and supervision as well as all equipment, materials, supplies, and facilities not provided by the Government. These services will be performed for a 1000+ room lodging operation, as well as 2 small daycare centers. NOTE: DUE TO THE CRITICAL NATURE OF THIS SERVICE THERE IS A 50 MILE RADIUS LIMITATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. ANY CONTRACTOR INTERESTED IN PROVIDING A PROPOSAL SHALL NOTE THAT ONLY PROPOSALS FROM CONTRACTORS LOCATED WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS OF NELLIS AFB, NV WILL BE CONSIDERED. A solicitation will be issued on or about 25 July 2006 with a closing date on or about 10 August 2006. A site visit will occur within one (1) week of the opening of the solicitation to answer any questions. The proposed acquisition will be set aside 100% for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 812320. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Please be aware that the solicitation will contain evaluation criteria for award, and IAW FAR 9.104-1(C) past performance will be used as one of the primary measures for the award decision. All interested vendors will be required to submit past performance data from 3 customers who received services within the last 3 years. Please review the attached past performance questionnaire and feel free to begin to forward these surveys to previous customers who received services during the time period from July 2003 through July 2006. Section A of the past performance questionnaire is to be filled out by the interested vendor and submitted to these offices. Section B of the past performance questionnaire is to be forwarded to previous customers by the interested vendor, and submitted to these offices by each customer.
