- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Wright Line LLC, 160 Gold Star Boulevard, Worcester, MA, for the purchase of Wright Line Laboratory furniture in support a laboratory conversion. This project will provide 17 workstation areas, 8 server racks and other miscellaneous furniture pieces (chairs, tables, etc.) Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 337214, Office furniture. FURNITURE STANDARDS: In 2003 a furniture standard was established for laboratories within the AFRL Rome Research Site to ensure ease of laboratory configuration and standardization, as well as maintaining the look and feel of computer laboratories. Since that time several areas have been outfitted with Wright Line furniture. All future purchases for laboratory areas must match existing to conform to the established standard.
