PR Number: FD20300624670 Item 0001, NSN: 1560-00-562-6835FG P/N 35-18188-504, Qty: 10 each, Fuel Door Access. ACFT Application: B52H. EXPORT CONTROL. The drawings, which will be furnished under this RFQ will be located on FEDTEDS. This acquisition involves data that are subject to export control laws and regulations. Only contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC) shall be provided copies of the solicitation or other data subject to foreign disclosure restrictions. Contact the Defense Logistics Services Center, 74 Washington Avenue N., Battle Creek, Michigan 40917-3084 (1-800-352-3572) for further information on the certification process. You may also visit their website at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The approximate issue date for the RFQ is 24 May 2006 and response date is 16 Jun 2006. The anticipated award date of this contract will be 28 Jun 2006. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Contractors shall refer to the actual solicitation for the exact closing date. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. Contractors must be registered in ORCA prior to award. Contractors may access ORCA at http://www.orca.bpn.gov. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
