- The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tool, materials, personnel, supervision, transportation, supplies and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance and landscaping services. All work will be performed on Bolling AFB, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561730 and the corresponding SIC code is 0782 with the size standard being $5.0 million. Basic Performance Period is 1 Jan 2007 through 30 Sep 2007, with four (4) one-year options. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors' past and present performance history and technical is more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR 8(A) CONTRACTORS. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 17 August 2006: http://www1.fbo.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 30 calendar days after the issue date. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be conducted. The schedule for the visit will be listed in the RFP. It is imperative that all prospective offerors attend the site visit. **NOTE ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
