PRON: AX6T1086AX, Noun: Housing, Gearbox, Turbine NSN: 2840-01-258-6517, PN: 6038T83G02, Quantity: 10 each applicable to the T-700 Turbine Engine. F.O.B. Origin with delivery to C orpus Christi, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 10 each, 413 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 10 each, 275 DACA. This is a Small Busines s Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses, which are approved. This is a Critical Safety Item. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses Alpha Q Inc., Cage Code 61344 and Aviojet Coroporation, Cage Code 7V469 because this part re quires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part f rom the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set Asides are restricted to U.S. small businesses, therefore foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
