Description

This proposed procurement in Unrestricted. NAICS Code 236210, size standard $31,000,000. Less than Truck Load Facility, Letterkenny Army Depot, Pensylvania is being advertised as a Request for Proposal for construction of a 15,000SF ammunition ship ping facility. Facility includes loading and unloading docks to permit cross-docking of munitions, six storage bays and two overnight holding bays separated with blast walls, operations office, break room, waiting room, work area, rest rooms, mechanical r oom, intrusion detection, lightning protection, sprinkler and fire alarm.This request for proposal requires separate technical and cost proposals to be evaluated based on Best Value Award of the project. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on th e evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Completion no later than 900 calendar days. Large Businesses must submit a Subcontracting Plan in accordance with Sect ion 00100 of the solicitation package. The Small Business Goals are 65% of the total value of subcontracted work. Of that 65%, 20% shall be with Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), 10% shall be with Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 3% shall be with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Zone), 3% shall be with Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and 3% shall be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by th e agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) -- a one-time registration process for vendors/contractors -- Accounts may only b e attained by CCR-registered contractors/vendors, go to www.fedteds.gov for additional information.
