- Description
- Award of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated for commercial items to provide Quality Assurance (QA) services for the Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) function of the United States Army C orps of Engineers within the continental US which consists of 56 districts and 32 regional information offices (RIOs). The purpose of QA oversight is to ensure the A-76 Service Provider executes the IM/IT efforts in accordance with the implementation plan /contract. This QA contract will be used to assess the Service Providers performance in comparison to the required performance levels identified in the A-76 Performance Work Statement. The solicitation will be issued on or after 8 August 2006 with bids d ue on or after 11 September 2006. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE FOR Service Disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). ALL RESPONSIBLE SDVOSB BIDDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. A preproposal conference has been set for 22 August 2006 at 1:00 P.M. EST, at the US Army Corps of Engineers Office, Prudential Office Building, 701 San Marco Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Contractor shall be available to start work immediately upon the award of the contract. Proposed period of performance i s from 11 October 2006 through 30 September 2007 with 4 one-year option periods. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website at https://fedteds.gov/.
