- Description
- Build a single self-contained, mobile, hydraulic pumping unit. The pumping unit shall be trailer mounted complete with hitch, diesel engine, hydraulic pump, discharge line, and fuel tank. The trailer unit shall be United States Department of Transpo rtation (D.O.T) highway rated and include lights, and electric brakes. Pumping unit shall be designed for cold weather operation and shall include diesel engine oil heater and hydraulic oil heater. The pumping unit shall be lowered into place with an elect ric or hydraulic winch. Heavy duty stabilizers shall be provided on the four corners of each pumping unit. Pump unit shall be designed to operate at a 45 degree angle from the drive unit. The drive unit itself shall be capable of being placed on a 23 degre e incline. The hydraulic system and diesel engine shall both be designed to be operated on a 23 degree incline. Fuel tank on the pump unit shall provide 48 hours of operation or be 100 gallons capacity (whichever provides the larger tank). Fuel tank shall also be double wall construction. The propeller pump to be furnished under this specification shall be hydraulically driven, axial flow, completely submersible type consisting of propeller bowl assembly, hydraulic motor assembly, suction bell assembly, di scharge tube and head. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran small business firms in accordance with FAR 19.14. The Government will accept quotes from only those Service Disabled Veteran firms who meet the criteria set forth in FAR 19.1403. The relevant North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333911 with a Small Business size standard of 500 employees.
