Description

POC FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS MR. LOUIE BRACKETT AT FAX: (251) 694-3626. THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOL ICITATION. This solicitation is for four (4) individual buildings with their own individual technical plans, specifications and Bid Schedule. Award will be based on the requirements of the RFP solicitation. In general, work will consist of repairing/repl acing all mechanical and electrical systems and architectural interior finishes. Estimated cost range of the project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Solicitation/bid documents should be available on or about 7 August 2006. The North American Industry C lassification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210. Mr. Gene Curtis is Contracting Officer for this project. Note No. 1: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is implementing a new procedure for posting all NEW solicitations. The Mobile District Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) system will no longer be used to post solicitations. The new system, called Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS), is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisiti on-related information for all Federal agencies. All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. Solicitation documents, plans and specificat ions will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution FedTeDS Homepage https://www.fedteds.gov/.
