- The National Park Service is soliciting competitive bids for a fixed-price supply contract for a custom platform manufactured style off road vehicle (Swamp Buggy) with trailer to be delivered to Big Cypress National Preserve, Ochopee, Florida. The swamp buggy is to be used for fire operations, which include law enforcement, land management activities, search and rescue. The swamp buggy will be operated during both the wet and dry seasons. The price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available at the http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about August 09, 2006. Telephone requests for this package will not be accepted - copies of the quote must be received in this office by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date: August 24, 2006. The Government requests the offerors to submit a firm-fixed price for each line item. Award will be a firm-fixed price. (See solicitation for a detail specification.) A single award will be made. Contractor must register in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) to receive the award. The web site for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov.
