Description
THIS MODIFICATION IS TO CORRECT DATA INCORRECTLY TRANSMITTED IN THE ORIGINAL RFI: The device must correctly function in a hostile environment (+150 degrees F to negative 50 degrees F @ 100% humidity in both salt spray and blowing sand as well as +/- 15 degrees of pitch and roll). NAVAIR Lakehurst is requesting information pertaining to a Stirling Engine powered generator that will provide at least .5 kva of electrical power and operate using 195 degrees F cooling fluid from a 60 kva (net) hydrogen fuel cell. The purpose of this device is to recover the heat energy currently radiated to ambient air, thereby reducing the radiator cooling area required by the ASV. The device must be compact and not larger than 2 ft cubed (1ft x 1ft x 2ft).
