- Ref PR 10180921. The Contracts Department at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA, intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, the following: 169 each, Data Tapes, Mfgr Sypris Data Systems P/N 16822803-261. These Sypris-certified data tapes are tested to ensure cleanliness and minimize data dropouts, and are certified to be free of defects. The data tapes exclusively are used in Sypris (Metrum-Datatape) digital cassette recorders which will not accommodate any other tape format. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clauses apply: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-50, 52.233-3, 52.233-4, 52.242-15, 52.247-34, 52.252-1, 52.252-5, 52.256-6, 252.212-7701, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7002, 252-225-7036, 252-232.7003, 252.232-7010, 252.243-7001, 252.225-7014, 252-237-7019, 252.247-7023, 252-247-7024, and offeror is responsible for completing and returning with offer the following: 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications. A written solicitation will not be issued, however any firms believing they can provide these tapes may submit a written offer to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 7/20/06, clearly showing the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data tapes and without causing programmatic hardship to the Government.
