- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Kit, Accessory, MK 34 Mod 0, in accordance with Government Automated Data Lists, Drawings, Specifications, and quality assurance requirements. The Government requires a minimum/maximum quantity of 1,500/30,000 kits. Also required are 30 first article units. This acquisition is full and open competition. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and must be certified under the Joint Certification Program in order to receive the technical package. Other requests to receive the data shall be referred to Commander, Code 0562NG, NSWC Crane, Indiana 47522-5001. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 10 August 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?.
