- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity (VaCA), on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Safe Passage International Incorporated; to procure three (3) Safe Passage Operating Systems, three (3) X-Ray Interpretation Software, three (3) Modular Bomb Set Training Software, three (3) Security Checkpoint Training Software, three (3) Heimann/Smith Operator Training Course, three (3) Software Access Key, three (3) years support, configuration and shipping. As the designer, developer and manufacturer of the listed software, Safe Passage is the only known company capable of providing the software and training required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
