- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) is soliciting sources for Shredded Rubber for Family Housings playgrounds at Kaneohe, Hawaii. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquistion of commercial items. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotation are those in effect through FAC 2005-11. The solicitation number is M00318-06-T-0017. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) and the small business standard for this procurement is 423910 and 500 respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) Technical, 2) Past performance, 3) Price. Solicitation will be available on or around 18 July 2006.
