- This is a Notice of Intent from NAVAIR-AD Patuxent River, MD, to issue a small business set-aside solicitation for the competitive procurement of the design, development and production of one prototype airborne FM broadcast antenna. It is also the intent of NAVAIR to include in the solicitation, an option for the procurement of up to 10 production FM broadcast antennae, and an option for the logistics support of the production FM broadcast antennae. It is anticipated that the total duration of the effort (including options) will be 18 months. This contract will be competitively awarded to the small business providing the best value to the government. This is not a solicitation. A formal RFP will be issued as a competitive small business set-aside within two weeks of this notice. Any response to this Notice of Intent to issue a small business set-aside RFP for the design, development, production and support of an airborne FM broadcast antenna should be submitted via e-mail to Kelly Chism, AIR 2.5.1.4.4.4, at kelly.chism@navy.mil. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-JUN-2006).
