- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for various electrical and fiber optic cables and assembly systems manufactured per government drawings and specifications for use in the Signal Analysis System, AN/WSQ-9(V)2. The drawings will not be posted on our web site. You must be Joint Certification Program (JCP) registered to obtain the drawings. Contractors can visit the following website to learn more about obtaining JCP certification http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/default.asp. Send an e-mail request for the drawings to Tony Gaglione at Gaglioneac@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. Your request must include your firm’s complete street address, cage code, tel. number (if you wish a CD-ROM, you must also include your Fed EX number- cost of mailing CD-ROMS will be borne by the requestor). There is a requirement that the awardee must be a NAVSEA-certified molding facility. A firm fixed price contract with option quantities is planned. The base quantity is currently estimated at 32 cable assemblies (various types) with total estimated option quantities of 27 assemblies (various types). Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors: Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Acquisition is 100% Small Business Set Aside. All timely offers will be considered. NAICS Code is 334419; size standard is 500 employees.
