- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration Contracts and Procurement Branch is establishing a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for hotel accommodations for future official travel. This Screening Information Request (SIR) seeks to pre-qualify Hoteliers and develop a Qualified Vendor List (QVL). Vendors included in the QVL, will, in the future, be eligible to receive requests for proposals and compete for subsequent contract awards/delivery orders for hotel travel with an estimated value of $10,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The following ?go-no-go? criteria will be used to screen vendors for inclusion on the Qualified Vendors List. For evaluation, potential Vendors must: 1. Provide a certified list of participating hotels that will comply with the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) and are compliant with FEMA and OSHA regulations in 80% of the cities in accordance with the ?Property Listing? found at Attachment 1. 2. Designate a domestic corporate contact person, i.e. one face to Government. 3. Certify that they will accept payment for all hotel room stays either by a centralized, direct billing system or via a centrally-billed Government credit card, charged at the completion of each stay. Either method must include a Global Distribution System (GDS) confirmation number for Government invoice reconciliation. Interested vendors should submit their certified qualification package which addresses the factors above electronically to the Contracting Officer, Grace Kelly, DHS-TSA Contracts and Procurement Office @ grace.kelly@dhs.gov. The due date for these submissions is Friday, August 11, 2006, by 3 p.m. EST. TSA will evaluate the responses and those vendors who meet the qualification requirements for the criteria listed above will form the Qualified Vendors List (QVL). The QVL will be established for a period of eighteen months.
