Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex(FCC), Beaumont, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ050211-0039-6 and make a single award for the provisions of Native American Services to be peformed for the inmate population at FCC Beaumont, Texas. Services are to be performed at the Federal Prison Camp, Federal Institution-Low, Federal Institution-Medium and United States Penitentiary. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 813110 (Size Standard: $6.5 million). The contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to: providing religious instruction, pastoral leadership, conducting worship services for holy days and counseling for inmates of the Native American faith. General topics the contractor shall be familiar with and teach include: Red Road, All my Relations, Medicine Wheel, The Scared Pipe, Sweat Lodge, Elders, Circle of Life, Traditions and Rituals, Prayers, Ceremonies, Fasting, Smudging, The Drum, Grandfather and Grandmother, Dances, The Medicine Pouch, Offerings, Decision making, Ritual Objects, Eagle, Eagle Feathers, Nature Lessons, Family Relations, Parenting, Learning, Healthy Relationships, Culture, Healing Traditions, Herbal Medicines, Understanding Self, Respect, Traditional Games, Traditional Foods, Seasons, Healing Self, A Grateful Heart and Cleansing Ceremonies. It is estimated that the contractor will perform 48 (3) hour sessions per year. A session is defined as three (3) hours. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award (EDOA)through September 30, 2007 as a base period and four (12) month option periods for renewal at the sole discretion of the Government. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The solicitation will be available on or about July 31, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The website provides all downloading instructionsto obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is August 29, 2006. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation, which will be considered for award. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
