THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 212312 FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. TOTAL $___________. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the lowest price. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and s upplies necessary to furnish and deliver 175 tons of Bedding Stone #2, 200 tons of R-650 rip rap, and 1740 tons of Graded Stone B. The Contractor shall deliver the stone by truck to Wallace Lake Dam, Caddo Parish, LA. This location is from the intersec tion of LA Hwy 511W (Industrial Loop) and LA Hwy 1 South, travel 4.2 miles on Hwy 1 South until you reach Leonard Road. Take a right on Leonard Road and proceed until you reach Ellerbe Road. Take a left on Ellerbe Road and go 2.6 miles or until you see the Wallace Lake Dam sign. Take a right onto Wallace Lake Dam Road. Travel 0.2 miles and take a left and follow this road to the site. An alternate route that avoids traveling through residential areas is to continue on Hwy 1 South, past Leonard Road fo r 8.3 miles. Turn right onto Ellerbe Road and proceed 6.7 miles to Wallace Lake Dam Road and then take a left and follow the signs. The Government will furnish equipment and personnel at the 3 stockpile areas to keep the material piled and arranged to a u niform height and area. Upon request, the Government will arrange a site visit with bidders to physically identify the stockpile area prior to the closing date of the solicitation.
