Description
NAICS CODE: 235810 =WATER WELL DRILLING - AT PIPE SPRING NATIONAL MONUMENT, ADMINSTERED BY ZION NATIONAL PARK. The work of this contract consists of the construction of a domestic water supply well to replace a well currently supplying potable water for Pipe Spring National Monument. The proposed location for the new well is about 150 feet northwest of the existing well. The existing well is completed in the Navajo Sandstone Formation. The project will include construction of the well and installation of the pitless adaptor and submersible pump. It also includes installation of a compatible controller, waterline and power from the chlorination building to the well and waterline from the chlorination building to the connection point with the waterline to the reservoir. Work also includes modifications to the chlorination building piping, conversion of the existing production well to a monitoring well. Pipe Spring National Monument is located with the Kaibab Paiute Indian Reservation, 14 miles west of Fredonia, Arizona. The monument is on a paved road, 1/3 mile north of Arizona Highway 389. This solicitation will be posted electronically at http://ideas.nbc.gov. The specifications for this project will be issued on or about August 10, 2006. To be included in the bid list, each prospective bidder should request a solicitation package in writing on company letterhead. Fax your request to (435) 772-3337. This Solicitation is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. A single award will be made. Contractors must register in CCR to submit an offer. The web site is http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. A pre-bid walk through may be held at a later date.
