Description
This sources sought notice will be used by the Contracting Officer to determine if it is in the Government's best interest to exercise the next option of the current contract. This information is intended to assist in acquisition planning and no formal solicitation exists at this time. This is a request for information only and a response is not considered an offer, nor does it commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of any submission. Interested offeros must submit a brief but complete capability statement that demonstrates the capability to perform these services for an evaluation to this office no later COB than 03 August 2006. All responses to this sources sought notice shall include company name and address, business size and type, point of contact to include email address and phone number, a cost estimate, as well as previous procurements performed of similar size and complexity. All responses to this sources sought notice should be forwarded to Mr. David Little via fax (202)685-5966 or email (david.f.little@navy.mil). General ? the services to be performed under this contract include the maintenance of multiple boats and related services, port operations, and waterfront administration in support of NAS Pensacola, FL. Services shall be provided on a turn key basis with the contractor providing all necessary management expertise, personnel, supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles unless otherwise specified as Government furnished equipment. The contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective completion of all services. Specific requirements ? Operation and maintenance of the following watercraft in support of various training missions: One (1) - 157-ton Over-Water Survival Launch Platform, Five (5) - 41 foot MonArk tow/pickup boats, Five (5) - 35 foot Premium tow/pickup boats, One (1) - 500-ton vessel (Helicopter Landing Trainer (HLT), IX-514, Baylander), Three (3) - 40 foot utility boats, One (1) - 41 foot MonArk pilot/security boat, Two (2) - 24 foot harbor security boats (HSB), OIL/FUEL SPILL FIRST RESPONSE TEAM: One (1) - 28 foot rapid response skimmer, Three (3) - 19 to 22 foot workboats, Three (3) - 21 to 30 foot boom handling craft, One (1) - 19 ft Boston Whaler.
