Description
NAICS Code: 541511 This is a notice of intent, not a Request for Quotation or solicitation. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) intends to issue a sole source task order to Performigence Corporation from their General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) number GS-35F-0181J for the maintenance renewal of Performigence's ProcessGenius software. The software maintenance renewal includes bug fixes, software upgrades, and technical support. The EPA has previously purchased the software with maintenance. Performigence is the manufacturer of the software previously procured and no other company has the rights to maintain or write new code for their software. According to Performigence, there are no authorized resellers of this software or for the software maintenance. ProcessGenius software is essential to the operations of OPP's Antimicrobial Registration Information System. This system allows users to quickly locate needed antimicrobial registration information and policy guidance. This proposed noncompetitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 8. EPA plans to issue this requirement as a firm fixed price task order off of Performigence's GSA FSS number GS-35F-0181J. The period of performance will be from the date of award through one year. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Helen Britz via email at Britz.Helen@epa.gov.
