- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification Code is 335929 with a Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a one time, firm-fixed price purchase of the following products: 1) 18 AWG 4 CDR Stranded O/A Shielded Plenum UL, CMP-CL2P 1000' Box, Quantity 216 Boxes; 2) 18 AWG 6 CDR Stranded Plenum UL, CMP-CL2P 1000' Box, Quantity 230 Boxes; 3) 16 AWG 2 CDR Stranded Plenum UL, CMP-CL2P 1000' Box, Quantity 208 Boxes; 4) 22 AWG 4 CDR Stranded Plenum UL, CMP-CL2P 1000' Box, Quantity 257 Boxes; 5) RG-59/U 95% Bare Copper Solid 20AWG Center CDR Plenum UL, CMP-CL2P Video Cable 1000' Box, Quantity 254 Boxes; and, CAT6 Wire, Plenum, 4pr/24, 1000? Box, Quantity 233 Boxes. The evaluation of quotations and the determination as to equality of the product shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. The purchasing activity is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonably available to the purchasing activity. To ensure that sufficient information is available the vendor must furnish as a part of his/her quotation all descriptive material (such as cuts, illustrations, drawings, or other information) necessary for the purchasing activity to determine whether the product meets the minimum salient characteristics. The government reserves the right to request product samples which can be tested for compatibility. Delivery of the items shall be thirty (30) days after receipt of order. The delivery shall be FOB Destination. There are multiple ship-to addresses. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Past Performance will be based on telephonic performance evaluations received from previous contracts provided in the quote.
