Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Radiant Communications Corp. 5512 Merrick Road, Suite 123, Massapequa, NY 11758. This contract will be for the procurement of: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 VMAP-GUI Software, Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 1. Radiant Communications Corp. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of video transmit ters and receivers that are currently in use and the only known source that can provide the required VMAP-GUI Software. Acquiring the VMAP-GUI Software will provide compatibility in form, fit, and function with existing Radiant Communications Corp. equipme nt and software currently in use at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firm s must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this item, then you must respond by 27 July 2006, 3:00PM Mountain Standard Time. All inquiries shall be cle arly marked with solicitation number W9124R-06-T-0053 and emailed to Michael.McDaniel@yuma.army.mil or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6534. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days instead of 45 days.
