- Description
- This is a modification of solicitation number HC1047-06-T-4031 to extend the closing date and time to 2:00PM EST, 31 July 2006. This modification also provides answers to comments received, regarding this solicitation. See below. 1: Who will be on the evaluation committee? The proposals will be evaluated by qualified technical personnel, GCCS-J subject matter experts, and business office representatives. 2: Have members of the evaluation team seen a demonstration(s) of business intelligence tools? If so, which products have been demonstrated? Some of the members of the evaluation team may have seen demonstration of some functionality of various commercially available tools, but this is not relevant to the current business opportunity.. No demonstration is desired - the evaluation will be done based upon written proposals. 3: The GCCS-J Force Readiness and Force Planning Business Intelligence (BI) tool pricing matrix asks for 20 licenses for each year (FY06-FY08). Please clarify the request in terms of: Named users - This information is not relevant or available. It will be used by Government personnel. CPU?s - The licenses are per server. Other - N/A. 4: For engineering support/training (labor) please clarify the work to be performed in terms of installation, development and training. Please provide an estimation regarding number of users trained from an administration and end user perspective. Engineering support is needed to answer questions concerning installation, configuration, and/or development work. Specific subject matter content of customization will be decided after purchase and during implementation of the tool. If training is embedded in the tool, it should be available to an unlimited amount of users. 5: GCCS-J indicates the evaluation scoring will deduct points for certain criteria. Are all categories weighted equally or do some hold more weight? Please describe the weighting matrix. N/A, however, two areas important to DOD are functionality and security. 6: Will the government consider a 1 week controlled validation phase with the top two vendors? The Government will consider this option, however, it is unlikely that this will be required. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
