- Description
- The U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) intends to seek quotes from firms interested in providing Armored Car services for the USCIS at any of forty-eight (48) separate locations in the United States. Offerors may provide quotes for one, several or all locations. Multiple awards will be made, according to best price at each location. Period of performance will be 10/01/2006 through 09/30/2007, with 2 one-year options through 09/30/2009. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Questions will be due to the Contracting Office by email not later than 3:00 pm Eastern, 07/12/2006, and quote submissions will be due to the Contracting Office by email or fax not later than 3:00 pm Eastern, 07/21/2006. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished primarily through the General Services Administration's (GSA) Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPPS) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The FEDBIZOPPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FEDBIZOPPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the GSA site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. EFFECTIVE WITH AMENDMENT #3, THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF OFFIERS / QUOTES IS CHANGED TO JULY 26, 2006.
