Local sources are those sources normally resident, licensed and registered to conduct construction business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation. For any American vendors who wish to work in Japan, below is the POC to help them be put in the right direction. Attn: Ira Kasoff Foreign Commercial Services American Embassy Comm: 03-3224-5090 DSN: 224-5090*** Project No. A-03-197, Modify A/C System Bldg 742 at Camp Zama, which includes(but not limited to) the removal and reinstallation of existing cooling tower, installation of concrete foundation for the cooling tower, installation of new water treatment, and installation of underground/aboveground electrical wiring system. Performance Period: 150 calendar days which includes 60 calendar days of on-site work. Site orientation is scheduled for 28 Jul 06, 10:00 a.m. at Camp Zama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan. All offerors are encouraged to participate in the site orientation. Advance notification of the attendance to POC below is requested.
