Description

The USGS intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to the University of Washington, Seattle, WA for digital geologic maps and subsurface databases suitable for publication derived from original source materials created by one of their scientists. This source has already created a subsurface database, is the only person possessing the required data, and is familiar with USGS data format requirements. This makes this source uniquely qualified to do the work. The proposed contract action is for goods or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Menlo Park, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer (rdonez@usgs.gov) by e-mail no later than the response date shown in this annoucement.
