Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement to train 10 Green Belts to Black Belts. The contractor shall provide a 4 week course on Green Belts to Black Belts Delta training at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. This training shall include all requirements set forth in proposed NAVSEA, Lean Six Sigma Certification Standards for Green Belts and Black Belts, Promulgation of. It is anticipated that the 4 week Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Black Belt Delta training event will occur the weeks of 14 August 06, 11 September 06, 25 September 06 and 09 October 2006. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers; (1) technical capability to meet the Government requirement; (2) price; (3) past performance. Technical and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Anticipated award date is 02 August 2006.
