Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62786-06-T-0029 applies. Quotes must be received by 3:00 p.m. on August 04, 2006 to be considered. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20060711. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 315211 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SUPSHIP Bath has a requirement to procure the following items. Item 0001: Coat, Firefighting, Sizes: Large ? 16 Each, X-Large ? 8 Each, XX-Large 15 Each. Outer shell made of yellow 7.5 oz. Nomex IIIA; Liner/moisture barrier combination 3.75 oz. Virgin Nomex/Kevlar batt quilted to 3.5 oz. Glide II face cloth/Gore RT7100 PTFE laminated to 4.0 oz. non-woven aramid; 2?/3? NFPA Scotchlite 1 red/orange trim; hook and loop inside closure with hook and dee outside storm flap closure; 10 x 10 patch pocket w/leather up 5? on the outside, 3? on the inside with a 1 x 2 velcro closure; Item 0002: Pants, Firefighting, Sizes: Large ? 16 Each, X-Large ? 8 Each, XX-Large ? 15 Each. Outer shell made of yellow 7.5 oz. Nomex IIIA; Liner/moisture barrier combination 3.75 oz. Virgin NOMEX/Kevlar batt quilted to 3.5 oz. Glide II face cloth/Gore RT7100 PTFE laminated to 4.0 oz. non-woven aramid; 2? NFPA Scotchlite 1 red/orange trim around cuff; 8x8x2 semi bellows pocket w/leather on bottom 5? of the outside and hook and pile closure (pair); Item 0003: Suspenders, Qty: 39 Each, EXH Back Style. All Firefighting Protective Clothing must be comp liant with NFPA 1971/2000 Edition. All pricing should be FOB Destination. Deliveries made to: National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., GFM Spares, USNS Sacagawea, T-AKE 2; 1695 Main Street; San Diego, CA 92113 within 30 days of receipt of award. Vendor must provide valid Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, DUNS number and Tax ID number. To be eligible for award, you must be properly registered in the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov.
