Description

The USPS Materials, Production and Distribution (MP&D) is conducting market research or Request for Information (RFI) with ?last mile delivery? courier service providers for its National Strategic Stocking Location initiative. MP&D seeks ?last mile delivery? courier service providers with courteous and professional drivers that have the capability to retrieve and pick up critical spare parts from a designated USPS stocking location and deliver the critical spare parts to supported USPS sites within 2 hours from the time of ordering. The requesting delivery sites will be within approximately a 50 mile radius of the USPS stocking location. The courier service should be capable of meeting this ?last mile delivery? requirement 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
