Description

This is a notice to enable interested parties to access the latest solicitation for the Bulkhead Hoists at Emsworth Locks and Dams. The previous solicitation, W911WN-06-B-0006, was cancelled due to lack of timely bids. The U.S. Army Corps of Engine ers, Pittsburgh District, needs to perform major rehabilitation on the Main and Back Channel Dams, Emsworth Locks and Dams, Ohio River, Pittsburgh, PA. The work (with the xercise of all awardable options) consists of furnishing and installing two, new, 30 -ton monorail-type bulkhead hoists with lifting beams and appurtenant equipment on the monorail beam beneath the service bridge at the dam. One hoist will be installed at the Main Channel Dam and one at the Back Channel Dam. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing bulkhead hoists. The procurement is unrestricted, and any resulting award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
