Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer potential offerors questions. Question 1: What is the shielding requirement for the pneumatic door that is to be refurbished; 100dB at 1GHz. Answer to Question 1: Yes, that is the correct requirement, 100dB at 1GHz. Question 2: Is a shielding effectiveness test required. Answer to Question 2: Yes, the contractor shall verify shielding integrity/effectiveness once the door has been repaired. Question 3: Is the shielding effectiveness test merely for the door area only or the entire chamber. Answer to Question 3: The shielding effectiveness test is for the door area only. Once the door is repaired and inflated, the contractor shall probe all seams where covers were removed and probe the door area for leaks. Question 4: Is baseline shielding effectiveness test required. Answer to Question 4: A baseline test is not required. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-JUL-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
