- The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Science and Technology (S&T) Deputy Area located in Washington, D.C., is seeking proposals to development an Information Systems Plan (ISP). The ISP will examine and prioritize the current inventory of natural resource technology tools and resource assessment models. It will also include an appropriate systems architecture and deployment strategy. The Contractor must have proven expertise in ISP methodologies and must provide a full complement of ISP related services. The Contractor must collaborate with a work group of NRCS subject matter experts and business analysts located mainly in Washington, DC., Ft. Collins, Co., and Ft. Worth, TX. The Government intends to award a negotiated Firm Fixed Price contract based on best value. The estimated completion time is 150 business days after award. Potential offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website to monitor any amendments and/or additional information that may be used under this solicitation. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your bid non-responsive and ineligible for award. Solicitation packages should be available on or about August 4, 2006 on FedBizOpps.
