- Description of Synopsis: This was previously as solicitation W91248-06-Q-0016 in FebBizopps on January 13, 2006; the new Solicitation Number is W91248-06-Q-0030. The revised closing date is revised to 14 August 2006; 1:00 PM CT. Requirement is no w being solicited on an Unrestricted Basis in accordance with FAR 19.10, The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program in lieu of being 100% Setaside for Small Business. Solicitation is subject to availability of funds. Contract type will be f irm fixed price. NAICS is changed from 561621 to 238220/$12 Million. The magnitude of the project is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation will be available for download on or about 25 July 2006. Work to be performed consists of p roviding all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to Remove/Replace Fire Alarm System in Building 7179. Work will consist of Demolition of existing fire alarm panel and devices and installation of a New MS9200 Fire Lite Alarm Control or approved equa l. New system must be compatible with King Fisher. Additionally, the contractor shall be responsible for providing pull stations, smoke and heat detectors, horn/strobes for a complete installation in compliance with NFPA 72 and 101. King Fisher transmit ters, antenna, and batteries will be furnished by the Government.
