Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial non-personal services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This anno uncement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested; a written solicitation repeating this information can be obtained for clarification. The solicitation number is W912LQ-06-T-0022 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses operating under a Standard Industry Classification code of 7538 and a North American Industry Classification code of 811111 and a size standard for small business of $6 million annually. The item description is as follows: CLIN 0001  The supplier shall furnish all personnel, equipment, services, materials, transportation and labor to repair a P&H 100 series crane, serial #53677, model #200RF2, NSN 3810-00-350-3775 located at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA. Contractor will evaluate, repair to OSHA standards and provide certification. Known issues include: 1. All four outriggers are leaking 2. Boom does not hold weight; hydraulics malfunctioning 3. Repair Kreuger system 4. Transmission malfunctioning - crane slows down once a steady speed is reached 5. Auxiliary cable (non-spin) for clamshell is to be added 6. Crane is to be inspected and brought up to OSHA standards; certification is to be provided. ** The Virginia Army National Guard would like repairs to be done on site; hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. **If repair on site is not feasible, pricing for transportation, special permits, etc is to be included in bid. Al l work is to be complete within 45 calendar days of award. The equipment may be viewed at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA. To arrange a site visit for inspecting the equipment prior to preparing a price quote for cost of repairs, please contact Ms. Susan Quinn; contact information is listed below. After evaluation, a written estimate, including all labor hours, parts, materials, transportation, and all other related costs, is to be submitted on company letterhead. A completed copy of provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications must be included with the bid.
