Description

Project consists of the reconstruction of one water control structure, construction of one new water control structure, and construction new spillway next to one of the structures. The water control structures will consist of a concrete headwall, reinforced concrete pipe, and stop logs for water level control. The spillway construction includes excavating, grading, and the placing riprap. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $31.0 million. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 07/26/06 with bid opening scheduled for 09/11/06.
