Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis to RHK Technology under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting From a Single Source. The object of this requirement is to purchase RHK SPM 1000 Controller meeting the following requirements: (1) SPM 1000 Rev. 8.5 Control Electronics with DSP Scan Control (ten +/- 130V high voltage outputs and eight analog and two digital data acquisition channels); (2) UHV SPM Controller-to-Scan-Head Cable set (CUSTOM Tinned); (3) software updates; (4) performance workstation; (5) computer interface TTL Board; and (6) user manuals. Based on the market research, NIST has not identified any other sources that can provide the required repair services. The anticipated award date of this order is on or about fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
