Description

The following VA Medical Centers in VISN 9 are seeking sources that can provide blood and blood products certified for human use for the period 10-1-06 to 9-30-07: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System includes both the Nashville TN Campus and the Murfreesboro TN Campus; VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY; James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mtn. Home (Johnson City) TN; and VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV. All sources should be able to deliver blood and blood products on a routine schedule and also an emergency basis of 24 hours and in some instances one hour or less. This is a Sources Sought request only. This is not a Request for Proposal. Responsible sources interested in this procurement shall submit on their company letterhead a statement which contains clear and convincing information identifying their capabilities regarding any or all of the VA Medical Centers in which they can provide blood and blood products in the time frames noted above. All potential sources are requested to notify this office in writing no later than August 09, 2006 at the following address: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VISN 9 Acq. Svc Ctr. Attn: Donald R. Larson, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Contractors are required to call Donald R. Larson to verify receipt of material sent by fax to 615-867-5429.
