Description

This solicitation was first announced on 5/12/2006 and no award was made. Resubmitting the solicitation as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Q6115060087. Provide materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to refurbish the interior features and surfaces of the barracks/hospital structure at Fort Larned National Historic Site, Larned, Kansas. Base Quote: Selective demolition and install, repair, and paint ceilings, wall surfaces, windows, doors, and trim. Additive Quote: Prepare, paint and seal floors. Estimated cost range: $25,000-$100,000. NAICS code is 236118. This is a "full and open competition" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The RFQ with attachments will be issued electronically on website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 7/28/2006. No hard copies will be mailed or issued. An award will be based on best value for the government. A site visit is very highly recommended and will be scheduled in the solicitation. The Davis Bacon Act will apply. Prospective offerors must register on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies.
