- Description
- Contaminated site investigation and clean-up and technical services. The USDA Forest Service, Region 5 (California) intends to solicit firms having the ability and skills to adequately perform CERCLA investigation and remediation work. Projects may include, but are not limited to: Performance of site investigation and characterization work, preparation of CERCLA and response action design documents, CERCLA response action implementation, operation and maintenance, potentially responsible party investigation, litigation and enforcement support, and other agency environmental technical support (example, land transaction environmental screening). Work will be at various locations throughout the State of California. For economic feasibility, in order to qualify for award the contractor is required to maintain an office within the State of California or Reno, Nevada. Firms may partner or joint venture to meet this requirement. Award will be based on the greatest overall value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government anticipates award to approximately one firm that can perform all work items. The Performance period will be for a basic period of one year with two, one-year renewal options. After award, selected firms will compete for individual work assignments, which may range from $5,000 to $500,000 each, with a majority of the assignments costing less than $50,000. This solicitation is open to both large and small business firms. This is not a request for a quote or bid, this is a pre-solicitation notice. In order to respond and submit a quote, interested firms must locate Solicitation No. AG-91S8-S-06-0028, within FedBizopps. This solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps by August 11, 2006. Once you locate Solicitation No. AG-91S8-S-06-0028, complete and submit your quote to the Forest Service.
